"Gli amici di HAL" è una collezione di home computer e videogiochi, a partire
dall'inizio degli anni '80 ai giorni nostri. Tra le marche rappresentate potrete trovare ad esempio
Acorn, Amstrad, Apple, Atari, Commodore, MSX, Olivetti, Philips, Toshiba, Sinclair, Sony.
Per ricostruire le atmosfere di quei tempi troverete anche software, riviste, libri, cataloghi, pubblicità e quanto altro sia in qualche modo legato a questi computer. Lo scopo e' naturalmente salvare e ricordare il periodo d'oro della nascita dell'informatizzazione di massa. Proprio per questa ragione parecchio materiale cartaceo e' stato acquisito digitalmente ed è disponibile per la consultazione direttamente online. |

MCmicrocomputer è stata una delle migliori riviste di informatica degli anni '80. E' splendido poter rileggere, ancora oggi, quelle pagine. Andrea de Prisco (indimenticabile AdP!) ha dato vita al progetto "MC-online" il cui scopo è digitalizzare tutti i numeri pubblicati.

Firenze Vintage Bit 2009 è il nome della nuova manifestazione dedicata al retrocomputer che si svolgerà Domenica 31 Maggio 2009 nella bellissima Toscana a pochi chilometri da Firenze ed esattamente a Campi Bisenzio.

Il 12 Gennaio 1984 veniva presentato da Sir Clive Sinclair in persona il QL.
Per la Sinclair avrebbe dovuto rappresentare una rivoluzione: era il primo computer "professionale" dotato di sistema operativo multitasking (QDOS, progettato da Tony Tebby) e corredato di quattro programmi per uso ufficio (word processor, spreadsheet, database, e grafica) scritti dalla PSION ...
