L'allestimento
Mi sono preparato a questa mostra nella maniera più organizzata e pratica possibile: sapevo di avere poco tempo sia per montare tutto che per smontare. Sono quindi arrivato a Modena con la macchina colma di scatoloni numerati e le istruzioni su come disporre, a grandi linee, il materiale.
Mi ero portato anche un valido aiutante (mia moglie!) che è naturalmente convinta che in casa di retrocomputerista ne basta (e avanza...) uno solo. In effetti avevo non pochi timori di non riuscire a fare tutto da solo... come facevo a dirle "...il 1541 va messo a destra del c64" se per lei era come parlare in arabo?
Più o meno a metà strada mi squilla il cellulare: è Fabio amico retrocomputerista da parecchio tempo. Me ne dice di tutti i colori: "Ma come fai una mostra vicino a casa mia e non mi avverti nemmeno? Devo sapere di Archeocomputer proprio dai giornali? Dai, ci troviamo a mangiare un panino a mezzo giorno..."
Passa mezz'ora e mi richiama nuovamante:
"Mi sono liberato dai miei impegni, non è che ti serve una mano?"
Alla fine Fabio è stato con noi sia il giorno dell'allestimento che dello smontaggio. Non solo mi ha aiutato, ma ha anche fatto parte delle foto e del filmino. Sinceramente non so proprio come avrei potuto fare senza di lui!

Visto che ci siamo ne approfitto per ringraziare tutti quelli che, in qualche modo, mi hanno dato una mano: lo Studio Lobo ed in particolare Elena, Giampiero che mi ha aiutato a preparare tutto il materiale, Gianni che mi ha prestato del materiale che altrimenti avrei dovuto andare a riprendere a Savona, mio padre che ha letto e corretto tutti i testi e naturalmente mia moglie ed i miei figli che mi hanno lasciato il tempo per fare tutto questo... magari non sembra ma ne è stato necessario veramente tanto!
